Martocchia 16 South Street Greenport, N.Y. 11944 Dear Mr. Martocchia: Please be advised that the Trustees would like to meet with the Town Board at their regular meeting to be held on May 25, 1976 to discuss the William Johnston property at Fisherman' s Beach, Cutchogue, N.Y. Mr. Johnston has applied to the Trustees for ( 1 ) bulkheading (2) dredging and filling The Trustees would like to meet with the Town Board at 10: 30A.M. , Tuesday, May 25, 1976 to discuss this matter. Very truly yours, Betty evi le, Secretary Board of Southold Town Trustees cc: Town Clerk J1 Town Attorney file s" i. i 8 Larkspur Drive West Islip, X. Y. 11795 April 12, 1976 Yr. Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman Board of Town Trustees Town of Southold Southold, N. Y. 11971 Dear Mr. Goldsmith: In accordance with our discussions at the meeting of the Board of Southold Town Trustees on March 8, 1976, 1 am enclosing a survey of our Lots 17, 18 and 19 at Fishermams Beach, Nassau. Point. You'll note that the survey indicates the metes and bounds of the property involved. In connection with our application for dredging and bulkheading, we respectfully propose that my wife and I deed to the Town Trustees all of the land on Lots 18 and 19 below the mean high water mark and out to the "Proposed Fill Line" indi- cated on the enclosed survey, with the exception of a small portion of Lot 19 where we presently have installed a floating dock. We felt that it would be preferable to retain ownership of a 15 foot strip of Lot 19 parallel to the line of the road so that we would have control over the property on which the dock is installed and, secondly, we felt that the Town would probably like to keep that lot, which is currently completely underwater, on the tax rolls even though the taxes are relatively low. In return for our deeding to the Town Trustees all rights, title and interest that we have to the above-described underwater lands on Lots 18 and 19, we respectfully pro-pose that the Town Trustees deed to us what right, title and interest they have in the land on Lots 17 and 18 above the mean high water mark. Tr usting that the Board of Town Trustees will approve our proposal, I am enclosing deeds prepared by our attorney, William Wickham, Esq., to accomplish the sug- gested transfer of properties.
