Martocchia 16 South Street Greenport, N.Y. 11944 Dear Mr. Martocchia: Please be advised that the Trustees would like to meet with the Tovnq Board at their ~egu!ar meeting to be held on May 25, 1976 to disouss the William Johnston property at Fisherman's Be.ach, Cutchogue, N.Y. Mr. Johnston has applied to the T~mstees £or (1) bulkheading (2) dredging and £illing The Trustees would like to meet with the Town Board at 10:50A.M., Tuesday, May 25, 1976 to discuss this matter. cc: Town Clerk Town Attorney £ile Very truly yours, Bo~~yev~%ary Board o£ Southoid Town Trustees 8 Larkspur Drive West Islip~ N. Y. 11795 April. 12~ 1976 Mr. Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman Board of Town Trustees Town of Southold Southold, N. Y. 11971 Dear Mr~ Goldsmith: In accordance with our discussions at the meet~-ug of the Board of Southold Town Trustees on March 8, 1976, I am enclosing a survey of our Lots 17~ 18 ~ud 19 at Fishermans Beach, Nassau Point~ You'll note that the survey indicates the metes and bounds of the prop_er~ ~-uvolved. In connection with our application for dredging and bulkheading, we respectfully propose that my wife and I deed to the Tow~ Trustees ~ll of the l~ud on Lots 18 ~ud 19 below the meau high water m~rk s~nd out to the ~t>roposed Fill Line'~' indi- cated on the enclosed survey, with the exception of a small portion of Lot 19 where we presently have installed a float~_ug dock. We felt that it would be preferable to retain ownership of a 15 foot strip of Lot 19 parallel to the line of the road so that we would have control over the property on which the dock is installed and, secondly, we felt that the Town would probably 15_ke to keep that lot, which is currently completely underwater, on the t~x rolls even though the taxes a~e relatively low. In return for ~a_v deedi~ to the Town Trustees all rights ~ title and interest that we have to the above-described underwater lands on Lots 18 and 19, we respectfully propose that the Town Trustees deed to us what right, title and interest they have in the land on Lots l? and 18 above the mean ~gh water m~rk. Trusting that the Board of Town Trustees will approve o~ur proposal, I am enclosing deeds prepared by our attorney, William Wickh~m, Esq. ~ to accomplish the sug- gested transfer of properties. Very tr~_~ yours enclosure cc William Wickhmm, Esq. Larry Tuthil!
