Transmitted herewith is the action taken by the Board
of Southold Town Trustees at a regular meeting held on
June 7, 1983:
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the application ~143 submitted by En-Consultants, Inc. on
behalf of Emily Jensen to replace (within 18") 40' plus (2)
6' returns of deteriorating concrete block retaining wall with
timber batter pile type retaining wall, Eugene's Creek,
Cutchogue.

have "no jurisdiction", as per my telephone con-
versation with Trustee Smith, on May 19, 1983.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERMIT
A. This application is to be completely filled in by typewriter or ink and submitted to the Town
Clerk m auacruolicate, accompanied b~/ writter' permission from the owner of the property if not
the same os the app;icant.
B Pilot Plan mast be drawn to scale on the reverse side of this application showing the location
of orop~ert% the names and locations of owners of adjoining properties, and a detailed description
of proposed project. (Note: Copies of the Pilot Plan may be made by a copy machine and attached
Io the Permit Application.)
C. No operation shal! be .n;t;a~ad by the applicant until cji permits that are required are issued.
D. A detailed statement of the rehabilitation and proposed condition of the premises after the
work is comp!atari must be given, including a survey if required.
E. It Permit is being sought for a more sizeable excavation than the construction of a private
single dock or ietty, then this application must be accompanied by a survey and topocjraphicai map
certified by a registered land survey or Professional Engineer. The horizontal control of survey
shall p~e based upon an approval local coordinate system. The vertical control for elevation and sound-
mos shail be ~ased upon United States Coast and Geodetic Survey and/or United States Geological
Survey datum.
F. A statement musi- accompany the application describing any known prior operations conducted
on the premises in question and whether any prior licenses or permits have been issued to erect
structures or to dredge or deposit fill on said premises and whether any such permits or licenses
were ever revoked or suspended by a governmental agency.
G. A filing fee of S25.00 shall accompany the application. This ffting fee inc{udes one inspection
there is c $500 fee for each additional inspection.
H. The Town Board upon request~orf_,~:~q.e applicant for a permit, may waive in whole or in part,
the provfs~cns of Article II, Section flailS, subdiws~ans (~ and ({~5~rwhere it finds that nature of the
proposed ogerorJcns are such that the requirements of such provisions are not necessary for a
proper consideration of a permit application.
