RE: Thomas Gralton and others
SC%~ %t000-137-4-1
Dear Mr. Gralton:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of
Trustees on Thursday, November 14, 1991:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees DENY the
amendment request for Permit ~3845 to add a 2'6TM X 10' ramp and
4' X 16' float on to existing permitted catwalk. Reasons for
the denial include: lack of agreement among the parties,
concerns that the proposed addition to the structure is larger
than the existing structure and the need to have a formal
application to properly review navigation and wetland issues as
well as have a formal public record upon which to base a
decision in this matter.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
this office.
Very truly yours,

Re: Amendment of Permit No. -3845
Dear Mr~ Gralton:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during
their regular meeting held on August 1, 1991 regarding your request
to amend the above permit.
RESOLVED that the Town Trustees Table the request of Thomas Gralton
to amend permit number 3845 for 14 days to gather more information.
As a result of concerns raised after that meeting, I have concluded
that the measure to provide for a decision outside the context of the
regular meeting is inappropriate and possibly illegal. Consequently,
the Board will again consider this matter at our September 5, 1991
meeting~

Dear Mr, Bredemeyer:
I am writing to you in regard to the application for a
permit to add a floating dock as submitted by Tom Gralton of
Cutehogue~ Unfortunately~ neither my husband nor i can attend the
upcoming Board of Trustees meeting. However~ i would like to
state that, we are in favor of said applieation~
As the owners of a home located at 4225 Pequash Avenue in
Cutehogue~ we have deeded rights to and pay taxes on the property
for which application is being made, The present dock~ built in
accordance with all appropriate permits~ is often too high above
the water to allow safe access, A floater would greatly improve
access az~d would allow the dock to be equally useful to all
households with deeded rights.
Tha~k yo~ for your consideration~
Sincerely~
Barbara G~ Dworkowitz
