RE: SCTM 944-1-11
Dear Mr. Gouveia,
After the winter storm of December 24th, 1994, the Board of
Trustees, in cooperation with the Building Department, the
Department of Environmental Conservation and the County Health
Department, inspected your area and found that a number of homes
along the Long Island Sound have been severely damaged by the
high tides, wind and beach erosion.
It is extremely important for you to have your property and home
inspected for exposure of septic system, eroded land,.damage to
home, exposed electric or fuel lines, etc.
If there is a need for repairs or replacement you must notify
these departments for proper permits before you make any
repairs~ or replacements.
We are working in conjunction with these departments to help you
and your neighbors make these repairs or replacements as quickly
as possible before any more damage is done, but we need you to
inspect your property and contact the necessary agents
immediately.
If we can be of any help to you, please contact our offices at
Town Hall, Southold.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Albert J. Krupski, Jr.
