With respect to the Town Trustee inspection and.my conversations
with you earlier today this will confirm our visit and
conversation:
The Southold Town Trustees have no "fare-value" objection to
your association filing for a wetland permit for the changes you
propose to your community docks. We would anticipate no problem
with your application provided you properly toe that there are
no objections from adjacent property owners. This could be done
in the form of a "sign-off" of neighbors or a vote recorded by
your.association secretary denoting the approval of the affected
neighbors who will have boats or docks within 15' of their
property lines.
Enclosed for your use is a wetland permit application. You
should'also apply to the Army Corps. of Engineers and N.Y.S.
Department of Environmental Conservation.
Enclosed is an application for your use. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact this office.
