Located: 2100 Ole Jule Lane, Mattituck. SCTM# 1000- 122-4-8 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the action remove 102 linear feet of existing bulkhead and 6' return, and replace the bulkhead and return in-place using vinyl sheathing and raise the height an additional 18" above existing top cap; add 15 cubic yards of clean sand.fill landward of proposed bulkhead and 10" wide non-turf buffer is CONSISTENT with the below listed Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP. The proposal to construct a 16'x32' in-ground swimming pool with dedicated pool drywell is recommended as INCONSISTENT. The jurisdictional setback to the pool is not shown on the plans. Re-locate the pool drywell to maximize the distance from the drywell to the waterbody. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. f Peter Young,Chairman Town Hall,53095 Main Rd. Provide 15 cy. of clean sand fill landward of proposed bulkhead. Also included is a proposed 16'X 32' in-ground swimming pool adjacent to existing-residence with pool backwash directed to dedicated drywell. A 10' non-turf buffer will be placed along the existing bulkhead. Located: 2100 Ole Jule Lane, Mattituck. SCTM#122-4-8 Inspected by: Peter Young The CAC Supports the application, however, there is no justification for raising the bulkhead. There is a concern that the raised height will set a precedent for the ; neighboring bulkheads. The CAC recommends the drywell for the pool is located on the landward side of the pool.
