THIS CERTIFIES that the construction of a 130' bulkhead with 2-10' returns; and to,excavate on the
landward side of the existing and add vinyl sheathing replace all dead-men lay-logs, and tie-rods; add
new face-piles adjacent to existingface-piles• cap bulkhead with CCA boards-, temporarily remove and
replace existing landing with stairs to beach; a 4' wide access path to stairs; and to establish and
subsequently maintain a 15' wide non-turf buffer along the landward edge of the bulkhead;

Conforms to the application for a Trustees Permit heretofore filed in this
office Dated March 4, 1989 pursuant to which Trustees Wetland Permit#3720 Dated June 1, 1989,
and Amended on October 16, 2013,was issued and conforms to all the requirements and conditions
of the applicable provisions of law.
The project for which this certificate is being issued is for construction of a 130' bulkhead with 2-10'

parr of the consideration for the issuance of che Permit does understand and prescribe to the fol-
lowing: 1. The Southold Town Trustees Permit must be prominently
displayed on premises effected during period of work
1. That the said Board of Trustees and the Town of Southold are rdeused from any and
all d~m~ges, or d~m~ for d~magas, of suits arising dirert2y or indirectly as a result of any oper-
ation performed pursuant to fids permit~ and the said Permit:tee will, at his or her own expense,
defend any and all such suits initiated by third parties, and the said Permittee assumes full tlahility
with respect thereto, co the complete exclusion of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Southold
2. That this Petmlt is valid for a period of 24 mos. which is considered to be the
estimated time required to complete the work involved, but should circumstances werrang request
for an extension may be made to the Board at a later date~
5. That fids Permit should be retained indefinitely, or as long as the said Permirme wishes
to maintain the strucrare or project involved, to provide evidence to anyone concerned that auth-
orization was originally obtained.
4. That the work involved will be subject to the hspection and approval of the Board or
its agents, and non-compliance with the provisions of the orio~natJng application, may be cause for
revocation of this Permit by resointion of the said Board.
5. That there will be no unreasonable interference with navigation as a result of the work
herein authorized.
6. That there shall be no interference with the r~ of the public to pass and repass along
the beach between high and Iow water marks.
7. That if furuze operations of the Town of Southold require the removal and/or altecatious
in the location of the work herein authorized, or if, ia the opinion of the Board of Trustees, the
work shall cause unreasonable obstracnon to free navigation, the said Permittee will be requl~
upon due notice, to remove or alter this work or project herein stated without expenses to the Town
of Southold.
8. That the said Board will be notified by the Patmittee ol the completion of the work auth-
orized.
9. That the Permittee will obtain all other permits and consents ,that may be required sup-
pIemental to fids permit which may be subject to revoke upon failure to obtain same.

Dear Mr. Geideman:
-._ The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during their regular meeting held on May 31, 1989 regarding the
above matter:
WHEREAS, John Geideman on behalf of william Hands applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the
Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated March
~21, 1989, and
WHEREAS said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect
to said application on May 31, 1989 at which time all interested
persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally v~ewed and are familiar
with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation
submitted concerning this application, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will
not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of
the town,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED that JOhn Geideman ON BEHALF OF'William Hands BE AND HEREBY
IS GRANTED PERMISSION UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO: construct a
130' bulkhead with 2-10' returns-back fill with clean sand trucke~ in
from upland source.
This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed if
work has not commenced by said date. Fees must be paid and permit
issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two
inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon
completion of said project.
Please return to the Building Department for a determination on
the need for any other permits which may be required for this project.
Permit will be issued upon payment of the following fees:
