Dear Yr. <rupski,
I am in receipt of your Notice of Action on my mother's
E,K~'~:~e:~ application for dock replacement permit.
We are oleased that 'the application was apprcved but disturbed
that it'is viewed as new construction not replacement con-
struction. It was suggested by our consultants, Docko Inc.,
that if we had applied for the permit soon after Hurricane
Bob or if some ~em~an; of the old dock remained it would have
peen viewed as replacement construction.
We were unable ;o afford the consultant and engineering
fees at the time the dock was destroyed. We waited until
money was readily available for the project. Also at the
time you inspected the site I was unable to accompany you
ano sho~ you the dock's location as a result of "Bobs"
furj.
I hope that by enclosing a photograph of dock, an explan-
ation for tardiness in applying, and a guided tour of the
old dock located just eas; of the property would be enough
;o change your mind.
I would lfke ~to se;' ~p ,:an aTpoin~ment with you on Town
