Unfortunately, that is not me or my coworker who signed for that package. I am sending you the attached High Point Engineering cover letter dated October 26, 2016 that came with your wetland application. So you can see what Mr. Bredemeyer was explaining to you yesterday of this confusion of submission dates. As you mentioned, I will make every attempt to make sure High Point completes the missing information within your application. It is one of the office policies to try every attempt to keep an application moving forward. As an FYI, my co-worker Diane had emailed C.Tartaglia on 11/3/16 regarding two forms that needed to be completed by the owner of Brewer, and one by High Point. We are still waiting for submission of said forms. Also, I noticed yesterday that the project description is incomplete. I intend on contacting High Point of the required details when it comes to replacing and/or reconfiguring docking facilities. Please don't take that as a concern to the Board review, it is just another requirement of the necessity of specifics for the permit to be issued. As I also had the plan open, I quickly noticed that part of your project falls within the Village of Greenport. If High Point has not yet applied to them for this portion, I recommend an inquiry to Greenport Village on how to proceed for that area of the Brewer property. Please see attached Fedex receipt for delivery of the Permit application on 10/14/16, by the published deadline. I think we would all much prefer that this error did not occur and that the permit was being processed on schedule. Unfortunately, as I am sure you can understand,we are very restricted in our timeframe to get projects done here (seasonal business and winter weather issues) and would ask that any and all considerations be made,so that we can get moving forward with the project just as soon as possible. In speaking with John, he did not anticipate any problems with what is a relatively straightforward replacement of bulkhead and docks (in fact we will have a few less slips so less bottom coverage) and I would ask that if in response to the delayed processing, that we might be able to at least start some of the preliminary work before another month passes. We would appreciate your consideration.
