The minutes for the November 17,2016 meetings were approved.
Introduction:
All applicants will give a presentation consisting of drawings, exterior materials samples and
other information required by the Planning Department to the Committee. The Conunittee will
ask questions and make suggestions as part of a general discussion with each applicant. Final
recommendations from the ARC will be presented to the Planning Board in the ARC Meeting
Minutes, and be made part of the Planning file for that application. The Planning Board will
consider these recommendations, together with all comments from other agencies, and provide
the applicant with a comprehensive written list of its requested revisions.

No representative for the applicant was present at the meeting. Brian Cummings,Town
Planner presented the Amended Site Plan for the proposed interior renovations to existing
buildings ( o footprint expansion) for a production distillery,formerly a warehouse facility,
consisting of four (4) buildings totaling±32,038 s . ft. ±12,902 sq.ft. to remain as storage,
±18,979 sq. ft. distillery and±2,257sq.ft. vinegar production with thirty-three (33) parking stalls
on 1.5 acres in the Light Industrial Zoning District, Greenport.
The Committee reviewed the application and is making the following recommendations:
• The two grassy islands located at the eastern side of the property along Corwin Street to
be merged back into one large grassy island;as it is shown on the subn-dtted Site Plan 1
on page 3.
• The Committee likes the existing low-profile railing along the middle island located
across from 8th Street, and recommends the addition of a similar low-profile railing be
installed within the large easterly grassy island. The reason for this recommendation is
to curb any vehicle parking on the easterly grassy island.
• The installation of a bike rack and a bench for employees in the middle island.

The planting of a mix of deciduous and conifer trees along each of the grassy islands to
create screening and shade.
