Box 1179 ^_ Southold, NY 11971 -- RE: Furse & Fisher Residences Fishers Island, NY Dear Diane, I would like to submit two amendments to Trustees permits. These are the following: 1a-3-S Furse Residence-2412 Peninsula Road: the original permit included rebuilding stairs down from an open deck, and building a new 8' deep deck extension. We decided in the course of construction not to rebuild the existing stairs and to keep them, and to make the deck 5' deep instead of 8'. This action reduces the level of disturbance on the seaward side of the house. Fisher Residence -3300 Clay Point Road: the original permit called for removing a deck built along an open porch on the seaward side of the house, and building a new 20' x 40' swimming pool. In the course of construction it was decided to remove the deck but extend the existing porch slightly, and to construct a much smaller pool, 12' x 40'. The setbacks from the top of bank, wetlands, and high water remain the same as what was originally approved. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and please let me know about next steps. Sincerely, SAM FITZGERALD ARCHITECT, PC Michael J. Domino, Presid' Q Com: Town Hall Annex John M. We're following your advice to make them two separate applications. Quick question: can we submit the same survey for each application showing both the revetment and swimming pool? Our plan would be to date the two applications a day apart, and put notes on the survey saying something like, "Trustees application dated such-and-such includes only the revetment," and "Trustees application dated such-and-such includes only the swimming pool." Is this okay, or would you like two separate surveys, one only showing the revetment and one only showing the pool? Thanks for the help! Regards, Sam Sam Fitzgerald Architect, PC 15 E.
