Two dwellings - unoccupied Upon receipt of request from Gary F. Olsen, Attorney, Mattituck, New York, I made an inspection of the buildings at this location. I picked up the keys from neighbor, Mr. Armstrong, and began in- spection at approximately 3:10 P.M. A one story framed dwelling is situated at the front of the property and consists of the following rooms: Living room, three bedrooms, kitchen, full bathroom and an enclosed porch. A warm air,gas fired,floor mounted, furnace is located in the living room. All bedrooms and bathroom have electric heating units on separate thermostat control. This building is on a cement block foundation with crawl space. Crawl space area is well vented. A gas fired hot water heater and water pump is located in lean=to at rear of building. Protection has been taken against freezing. A one story framed cottage is located towards the rear of lot. This building consists of a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, full bathroom and an enclosed porch. A gas fired warm air furnace is centrally located in building, installed in living room floor. Building rests on locust posts, crawl space is skirted. Accessory building consists of a two car garage located at the rear of the property. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, were found: Cottage: Water pump located in base cabinets under kitchen sink appears to be leaking - floor area wet at this location. Article V, Sec. 52-51 A.2. Electrical hook-up to water pump motor - two wire conductor from motor spliced to BX cable, no junction box, motor not grounded. Article V, Section 52-56 1-3. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in DUPLICATE to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non -conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3.
