Commencement:
The meeting began 7:05 p.m. with five LPC members present.
Committee Minutes and Administration:
Acceptance of LPC meeting minutes from October 11, 2016
MOTION
made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Lillian Ball, to adopt the 10/11/2016 LPC meeting
minutes.
Motion carried: 5/0 (LPC member Anne Murray not present at time of vote)
General Land Preservation Items:
APPOINTMENT: LISA KOMBRINK, SPECIAL COUNSEL
Long Is. Pine Barrens Socy., Inc. v Suffolk County Legislature: Discussion
Lisa Kombrink, Special Counsel for LPC, provided LPC with an overview of the court’s decision
handed down in September 2016 regarding the case of Long Is. Pine Barrens Socy., Inc. v Suffolk
County Legislature.
APPOINTMENT: LISA KOMBRINK, SPECIAL COUNSEL
Development Rights Easement: Review-Discussion \[executive session\]
EXECUTIVE SESSION.
The LPC members entered into
Land Preservation Applications and Inquiries:
SCTM #1000-107.-10-9 (MILL LANE ONE, LLC)
Request from landowner to revise a condition of the offer \[executive session\]
Purchase offer extension request
END OF EXECUTIVE SESSION
LPC instructed Melissa to advise landowner of approximate decrease in purchase offer if request to
revise condition of purchase offer is pursued.
MOTION
made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Will Lee, to grant an additional thirty (30) day
extension until November 17, 2016 to allow time for landowner to respond to a purchase offer
extended to Mill Lane One, LLC as outlined in the July 14, 2016 LPC offer letter.

made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Will Lee, to grant an additional thirty (30) day
extension until November 17, 2016 to allow time for landowner to respond to a purchase offer
extended to Mill Lane Two, LLC as outlined in the July 14, 2016 LPC offer letter.
