Trustees to send the following letter to your attention. There is always room for error in these days of permits, forms. and regulations but the bottom line for any work done in Sbuthold Town waters is that the contractor must have a permit in-hand before any work commences. Also on certain types of construction a fee is charged and must be paid before construction starts. It has come to our attehtion that your.organization has installed docks for Mr. Silbernagel .and Mr. Bolter without a permit in hand and 'without paying the stipulated fees required. This Board feels this was not done deliberately and therefore will not press-for any kind of action,,-but in the future please be sure all permits are in hand and 'fees pa?d before commencing any work ih Southold Town waters.
