HomeMy WebLinkAboutGlover Brothers LLC RESOLUTION 2016-1009 '* ADOPTED DOC ID: 12428 THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2016-1009 WAS ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON NOVEMBER 9,2016: RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs Supervisor Scott A.Russell to enter into an extension of the lease al4reement between Town of Southold and Glover Brothers,LLC for the use of a storage facility for the purpose of providing winter storage for equipment used by the Southold Town Highway Department and Public Works Department located on Cox Lane, Cutchogue, at a cost of$750.00 per month, on a month-to-month basis. t Elizabeth A. Evans, Justice AYES: Dinizio Jr, Ruland, Doherty, Ghosio, Evans, Russell LEASE AGREEMENT This Agreement is made between GLOVER BROTHER, LLC,with an address of 1145 Stillwater Avenue, Cutchogue, New York 11935, as Landlord, and the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, 53095 Route 25, P.O. Box 1179, Southold, New York 11971, as Tenant. The Landlord hereby leases to Tenant a storage facility on Cox Lane, Cutchogue,New York, for the purpose of providing year-round storage for equipment used by both the Southold Highway and Public Works Departments. The vehicles stored in this facility and the Town employees using this facility shall be covered by the Town of Southold's blanket insurance liability policy. It is agreed that the Southold Town Highway and Public Works Departments shall have unlimited access to said storage facility for the inspection, addition or removal of any equipment owned by the Town of Southold. The lease shall be an extension of a lease between Landlord and Tenant on a month-to- month basis at a rate of Seven Hundred and Fifty($750.00) dollars per month,payable on the first(1S) day of each month. This lease may be terminated by either party upon sixty(60) days written notice sent by certified mail,return receipt requested. At the expiration of the terms of this agreement, the Tenant shall deliver the premises in good order.
