Robert I Brown,Architect under BP#41290.We decided to forego construction of the stairs on the
easterly side of the building, so the deck has no stairs at all.
To close this permit and obtain a new certificate of occupancy, in lieu of amended plans, it is understood
by all parties that the omission of the stairs is acceptable, but further understood that if we decide in
the future to add stairs,we will need to reapply for permission to do so.

Findings: The project meets all the requirements for issuance of an
Administrative Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code. The
issuance of an Administrative Permit allows for the operations as indicated on the
site plan prepared by Robert I. Brown Architect, P.C., dated May 23, 2016, and
stamped approved on November 16, 2016.
Special Conditions: None. -
Inspections: Final Inspection.
If the proposed activities do not meet the requirements for issuance of an
Administrative Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, a
Wetland Permit will be required.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Permit to replace the existing +/-516sq.ft deck with a +/-241sq.ft. deck with stairs on easterly side of
dwelling. Located: 400 Long Creek Drive, Southold. SCTM# 1000-55-4-23.3
It is my recommendation that the as-built deck is INCONSISTENT with the below listed Policy
Standards and therefore is INCONSISTENT with LWRP.
6.3 Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands.
A. Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of
Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their
jurisdiction,

The structure was constructed without a Board of Trustee permit.

proposed actions that are subject to the Town of Southold Waterfront Consistency Review Law. This
assessment is intended to supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in
making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building Permits
and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal_Erosion Hazard Area.
