Box 1179 OWNOFSOUMoLD Southold, New York 11971 Re: 270 Illinois Street—Mattituck Dear Mr. Verity: I inspected the framing of the building and the installed insulation and found the framing and insulation to be installed as shown in accordance with the plans.The steel column installed under the beam in the center of the cellar has be changed to a structural column. Fire rated gypsum board has also been installed on the bottom of the floor joists over the furnace flue pipe. Additional concrete has been installed over the oil line on the floor between the oil burner and oil tank. A pipe is connected to the relief valve in the hot water heater and extends down toward the bottom of the tank. All CO/Smoke detectors have been installed as required by Code. The cellar and crawl spaces are original to the building and there were no visible signs the any addition was added to the building. To the best of my knowledge the completed work is in compliance with the Residential Code of New York State. If you have any questions, please call me at 631-298-1986.
