This building has been used as a machine shop; subject to my knowledge, since 1901; when the Holland Boat Company utilized it. It was considerably larger at that time as the enclosed pictures will demonstrate. This continuous use preexisted the zoning ordinance in the Town of Southold by 74 years, at least.
