Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-Existing Certificate
of Occupancy I made an inspection of the buildings on this premises.
I was admitted to dwelling by Mrs. Rosecrans who accompanied me
during this inspection that began at approximately 1:30 P.M.
The dwelling is a one story wood framed structure constructed
on a poured concrete foundation. Ground floor contains two bedrooms,
living room, kitchen and a half bathroom. Heat is furnished to all
rooms from an oil hotwater furnace located in full cellar. Cellar
is accessible from within the building and contains a stall shower.
~Accessory building is a wood frame structure located in side yard area,
used for storage purposes.
I found no violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Code of the
Town of Southold, N.Y. Inspection completed at approximately 1:45 P.M.

MARGARET M. ROSECRANS, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
That she resides at Nassau Point Road, Cutchogue, Town of
Southold, New York.
That she is one of the devisees under the Last Will and
Testament of Anna W. Murray, deceased, t~e owner of the dwelling
situate on the east side of Nassau Point Road (no number),
Cutchogue, New York.
That the said premises have been owned by the late Anna W.
Murray since September 20, 1930. That no structural changes to
the premises or their use have been made since April 1957, the
date of the adoption of the Southold Town Zoning Ordinance.
That annexed hereto and made a part hereof is a survey of
the premises prepared by Roderick Van Tuyl, P.E., dated 7/24/73
That said premises have been as shown on the annexed survey
without change since April, 1957.
That your deponent requests that a Certificate of Occupancy
for the subject premises be issued.

APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of .property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
Vpre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.
