Th� decision reached was to recommend the reduction of speed limits on Skunk L�rr� between Rt. 25 and Leslie Road from 40 MPH to 30 MPH aiong with new sic�r��ge as uvell as adding additional 30 MPH signs between Lesiie and Nassau Qc�ir�t �;oads_ i Please be aware that this action requires the Town attorney's office review, a publi�;hearing and a Town Board resolution in due course. In addition, the NYS C7epartment of Transportation is required by law ta approve any speed changes even on local fiown roads. i � To facilitate this later process, the Town Police will be placing a cfevice to monitor speed�and direction for cars travelling on this road.
