Tax Roil: Lawrence Lakowitz Occupied - Owner Upon receipt of request for a Pre~Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this two story framed dwelling. I was admitted to building by John P. Kowalski who accompanied me during the inspection which began at approxi- mately 3:30 P.M. The first floor consists of an enclosed front porch, living room, eat-in kitchen, dining room and half bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms, storage room off northwest bedroom, and a full bathroom. A one car garage is attached to the north side of building. Heat is furnished to all rooms on the first floor only from an oil fired hot water heater located in partial full cellar. The following violations of The Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, were found: Front porch - entrance, no means of controlling light in building at point of entry, Article V, Sec. 52-56 B.2. Corner post at south end of porch, supporting porch, roof rotting. Article III, Sec. 52-30 A. Roof - south side, shingles missing. Art. III, Sec. 52-31 C. Open Yard area - rear of building, accumulation of refuse in form of old automobile tires and wheels,auto crank case, oil tank, waste paper, fire hose,cans, motor parts, automotive and marine.- old wood door and scraps of lumber.
