Dear Sirs,
It has been brought to my attention that Southold Sunsets LLC,
4200 Kenney's Road, has submitted to the Town of Southold a
request for a permit to demolish the existing one-story dwelling,
decks and enclosed porch and in their place to construct a raised
two-story 1,600 sq. ft dwelling with a first floor 1,097 sq. ft.,
covered porch/cantilevered open decking on north and east sides
for a total first floor footprint of 2,697 sq ft., first floor elevation 16
ft; second floor loft to be 322 sq ft with a 224 sq ft balcony
walkway and a 158 sq ft open deck.
It is my considered opinion that such a structure not only will
dominate its surroundings, but it will be in violation of the Town's
building codes as they relate to its position relative to the
neighboring properties.
If approved as planned, not only in itself will be a behemoth

eyesore but eventually its living quarters may even get larger, as
covered porches are converted into residential space.
