The 86"x 86"x 37" hot tub holds approximately 375 gallons,weighs 705 lbs. dry and 3700 lbs. wet. (see attached sheet). The deck is going to be reinforced with new footings and support structure as per attached diagram.The existing deck is 41 inches above grade. Drainage for the hot tub will be provided by a 4ft. drywell that is located 116 ft. landward from the Southold Bay and is 12 ft. off the northeast corner of the house. The drywell is capable of holding 375 gallons. The hot tub has an ozonator which will help reduce the amount of chlorine required in the water.
