RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. V. RESOLUTIONS 547. Declare the parcel of Downs Creek, Wetlands Preserve, SCTM #1000-116-1.9.2, now and forever the "Frank A. Kujawski, Jr. Preserve at Downs Creek" in appreciation to Frank A. Kujawski, Jr. for his dedicated service to the Town of Southold. 548. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with individuals for the fall 2002 recreation programs. 549. Reject any and all bids received for the construction of a new animal shelter. 550. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an Agreement with the Robert L. Perry Day Care Center to provide a child day program. 551 Authorize modification to the Highway Fund Part Town 2002 budget to establish the 2002 budget for the CHIPs program administered by the Highway Department. Gannon & Sons, Inc. for the application of Polymer Modified Emulsified Asphalt Pavement, Type II Micro-Surfacing. Authorize Comptroller John Cushman and Senior Citizen Director Karen McLaughlin to attend the NYSGFOA Annual Fall Seminar on September 13, 2002 in Hauppauge. Grant permission to Sgt. James Ginas and John Sepenoski to attend the 2002 Northeast Regional HTE Users Group Conference on September 23-24, 2002 in Danbury, CT. Accept the resignation of Aileen Asklund, part-time Mini Bus Driver for Senior Services Center. Set 8:00 p.m., September 24, 2002, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public hearing to hear citizens' views on local housing and community development needs. Designate Assistant Town Attorney Kathleen Murray as Special Assistant District Attorney for the purpose of prosecuting violators of the Southold Town Code. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriated donated money to supplement equipment maintenance and repair. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget to appropriate donated money for Adult Day Care furniture. Authorize Supervisor Joshua Y. Horton or his successor to execute an agreement with Fleet Bank for credit card privileges for the Fishers Island Ferry District. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an agreement with New York State for a Community Projects Appropriation for the "With You, Southold Can Project". Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to re-advertise for a member of the Anti-Bias Task Force Committee. Accept the resignation of Scott A. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute the necessary documents to rescind and cancel the contract with Fleet Bank to operate a lock box for the Tax Receiver's Office. Authorize and Direct Supervisor Horton to execute a contract with North Fork Bank to operate a lock box for the Tax Receiver's Office. Accept the resignation of Joseph Betty from his position as Maintenance Mechanic at the Human Resource Center. Declare itself lead agency in regard to SEQRA in the matter of the amended petition of Darrin Skrezec for a change of zone from R-40 Low Density and Hamlet Business to Limited Business. Determine that the change of zone, SCTM #1000-74-4-14.1, County Route 48, Peconic from HB and R-40 to LB is an unlisted action pursuant to SEQRA Rules and Regulations. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for the October Grand Opening of Fort Corchaug at Downs Farm Preserve. Approve the revised bond estimate for proposed Minor Subdivision of Paradise Isle, SCTM #1000-53-6-46.2 in the amount of $47,275. Appoint Robert Ghosio to the position of Chairman of the Conservation Advisory Council. Amends resolution of May 15, 1995 to change the titles of Angel Morales from Home Health Aide to Part-time Food Service Worker and Beatrice A. Freeman from Home Health Aide to Part-time Mini Bus Driver. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an application with AFLAC for a Premium Only plan for non-union employees. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste District 2002 budget to cover various overdrawn lines. Determine that "A Local Law to amend {}6-175 of L.L. 20-1998 in relation to extending the expiration date of the two percent (2 %) real estate transfer tax imposed in connection with the Town Community Preservation Fund" is classified as an Unlisted Action pursuant to the SEQRA Rules and Regulations, 6NYCRR 617.1 et. Seq. Find no significant impact on the environment and declare a negative declaration pursuant to SEQRA Rules and Regulations for the above action.
