My telephone number is (917) 650-5101. In 2014 when I purchased the Property,the prior owner had a shipping container illegally stored on the Property. I had the illegal container removed from the property at an expense of approximately$2,000 (I gifted it to the company that removed it) because the container was illegal and was an eyesore in the community. Regardless, I do need storage for lawn care equipment, bicycles, kayaks, canoes, barbeque equipment and outdoor cushions for seating. Storage will allow me to safely store my equipment and will allow the Property to not be littered with junk. There is no garage or other outdoor storage unit on the Property. Compared to the tacky storage container, I intend to clad the shed in traditional cedar shingles (at great expense)which will match the shingles that I plan to re-clad the exterior of the home. As you will note on the attached survey,the shed will be located on the side of the home that is not readily visible from either the street or the water. I also intend to have significant landscaping on both ends of the non- attached shed to allow it to blend in with the home. This shed is integral to my enjoyment of the property and I hope that we can reach agreement on this variance. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
