Jetter Upon receipt of an application for a Pre -Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this wood framed two-story dwelling. I was admitted to building by Mrs. John C. Jetter who accompanied me on this inspection that began at approximately 1:40 P.M. First floor has a front entry hallway, kitchen, dining room, half bathroom, and a living room with fireplace. Second floor has four bedrooms and a full bathroom. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil fired hot water furnace located in cellar of building's foundation constructed of red brick masonry. A roofed over open porch protects front entry to building. Accessory structure is a wood framed one -car garage with a greenhouse addition at rear. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York, were found: Kitchen - gas cooking range, no shut off valve at unit, Artic a V, Section 52-52 B 2. Bathroom - second floor, missing floor tile at base of toilet, excessive openings in floor tile joints, Article III, Section 52-32 D. Cellar - open electric junction box at north end near sewage pipes. Broken ceiling light fixture on first floor joist near southwest corner of cellar, Article V, Section 52-56 A 1. Front porch - excessive settling causing deformation of e� cs�and roof, Article III, Section 52-30 B. Rear- yard - overgrown, accumulation of automobile parts and two un icensed vehicles, Article VI, Section 52-61 C, D. Inspection completed at EH:med appro 'mately 2:15 P.M. This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in triplicate to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings or new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non -conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
