The owner commissioned Rain & Sun Control Ltd from Smithtown to erect the structure on 04/09/2002. My research indicates that the manufacturer's warranty includes engineered roof panels, fully tested by a certified professional engineer to meet building code requirements and designed to carry wind and snow loads compliant with NYS code. The owner failed to obtain a permit and CO for the completed project at that time. I inspected the porch room and found that it is solidly attached to the main house and the garage including metal strapping of the structure to the existing deck framing and concrete footings.
