Moore, Esq. on behalf of PETER NATHANSON requests a Wetland Permit to install a 16'x32' in -ground swimming pool; install 3' wide decking around pool; install 4.5' high pool enclosure fencing; install a drywell for pool backwash; and install a line of silt fencing and/or staked hay bales prior to construction. Located: 37900 Route 25, Orient. SCTM# 1000-20-3-9.2 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is INCONSISTENT with the Policy Standards 5 and 6 and therefore is INCONSISTENT with the LWRP. 1. The water supply to the residence in private well. Public water in this area is unavailable. 2. The pool (bottom elevation) would be' located within groundwater found at 6' in 1987. 1 suspect that groundwater levels are closer to the surface elevation presently. 3. The bottom of the drywell could be located within groundwater (NO SPECIFICATIONS ARE SHOWN) Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. This assessment is intended to supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building Permits and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area. 2.
