Deponent makes this affidavit for HELEN G. HORTON, who is the owner of the premises located at New Suffolk on the South side of New Suffolk Avenue, Cutchogue, New York, Suffolk County Tax Map #1000-117.00-09.00-009.000, as shown on the enclosed survey. The house and garage on the premises were built in 1920 by Goldsmith & Tuthill for Mrs. Horton and her husband, Gilbert Horton, who was the bookkeeper for the firm, and the house was given to them as part of his employment. The Hortons lived on the property from 1920. Mr. Horton died in 1971, and Mrs. Horton continued it as her residence. The property was conveyed to them in 1956 by Ruth Tuthill Houston. To my knowledge and belief, no alterations were made to the premises that would require a Certificate of Occupancy.
