SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY MAY 19, 2016
A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was
held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Capitol One Bank Building, First Floor Conference
Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday May 19, 2016 commencing
at 6:00 P.M.
Present were:
Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson/Member
Gerard P. Goehringer, Member
George Horning, Member
Ken Schneider, Member
Eric Dantes, Member
Kim Fuentes, Zoning Board Assistant
Vicki Toth, Zoning Board Assistant
Call to Order at 6:06 P.M. by Chairperson Weisman.
STATE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY REVIEWS:
A. New Applications:reviews (pending)
POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARINGS:
JAMES O'HAGEN#6945 -Applicant requests a Special Exception under Article III Section
280-13B(14). The Applicant is the owner requesting authorization to establish an Accessory
Bed and Breakfast, accessory and incidental to the residential occupancy in this single-family
dwelling, with four (4) bedrooms for lodging and serving of breakfast to the B&B casual,
transient roomers. Location of Property: 1125 Windward Road Orient, NY. SCTM#1000-14-2-
30.1. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Goehringer to adjourn the hearing to July 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Vote of the Board:
Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).

MARY ANN FLEISCHMAN#6950 -Applicant requests a Special Exception under Article III
Section 280-13B(14). The Applicant is the owner requesting authorization to establish an
Accessory Bed and Breakfast, accessory and incidental to the residential occupancy in this
single-family dwelling, with two (2) bedrooms for lodging and serving of breakfast to the B&B
casual, transient roomers. Located at: 560 Holden Avenue Cutchogue, NY. SCTM#1000-110-5-
21.2. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Goehringer to close the hearing reserving decision. Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This
Resolution was duly adopted (5-0).

agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following applications. The original

RESOLUTIONS:
A. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member
Goehringer, to authorize advertising of hearings for the next Regular Meeting to be held
June 2, 2016 at 8:30 AM. Vote of the Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted
(5-0).
B. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by
Member Schneider to approve minutes from May 5, 2016 Regular Meeting. Vote of the
Board:Ayes:All. This Resolution was duly adopted(5-0).
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, Chairperson
Weisman declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 P.M.
