This application must be filled in typewriter OR ink, and submitted in duplicate to the Building Inspector with the following; for new buildings ar new use: 1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2.Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal--(S-9 farm ar equal). 3.Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect ar Engineer responsible for the building· 5.Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1.Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features· 2.Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2. Tax Roil: Roberta Young Hommel - occupied with: Tenant buildings at: #2270 Village Lane #2220 Village Lane Accessory Blgs. #125 Willow Street Seasonal Seasonal Upon request of the Southold Town Building Department, I made inspection of these buildings and found the following violations of Local Law #1, Housing Code, Town of Southold. I was admitted to the south entrance by Mrs. Corcoran and bega~r inspection of the main house at approximately 2:00 P.M. Mr. Corcoran accompanied me on inspections of accessory building and tenant bungalows. Main House - #2195 Village Lane (Two story framed dwelling #75 Willow Street with crawl space.) First floor: Willow street entrance - No light switch on entry. Sec. 529 b. Kitchen: range- no shut-off at unit. Sec. 508 b. Living Room: No light switch on entry. Sec. 529 b. Furnace room: Ceiling fixture - no switch or pull chain. Sec. 528 a. Outside, entrance, no switch to control light on entry. Sec. 529 b. Room, northwest corner, entrance from outside - No switch on entry. Sec. 529 b. Stairway to second floor on west end of building- hand rail loose and unsafe. Sec. 107 Accessory Buildings Carpenter shop - crawl space - east window - broken pane of glass. Sec. 603 b & 302 b. Two car garage - one and one half story with dormer. Stairway - open side, no hand rail - Sec. 216 b. Window, second floor, west end, broken pane of glass. Sec. 603 b & 302 b. #125 Willow Street (One and one-half story) Shop (formerly plumbing shop). Partial cellar, three windows- broken panes of glass- Sec. 603 b & 302 b. Stairway to cellar deteriorating, steep, and no hand rails on open sides. Sec. 107 - 216 b. - 302 a. Pg. 2 - Housing Code Inspection May 15, 1973 #2270 Village Lane Cottage, one story - No heat - seasonal - Sec. 513 a. Room arrangement and access does not provide privacy for sleeping quarters. Sec. 209 b. Front entrance: No light switch on entry. Sec. 529 b. Bathroom: wood flooring only. Sec. 214 d. Room, west side, outlet with lamp cord running to ceiling fixture. Sec. 528 a. Kitchem: Ceiling fixture, wired with lamp cord to light over sink and plugged into wall outlet. Sec. 528 a. Gas range- No shutoff at unit on part open underneath. Sec. 302 a - 604 b. #2220 Village Lane No Heat. Seasonal. Sec. 513 a. Living Room: entrance- no switch to control light on entry. Sec. 529 b. Bathroom: Wood floor only - Sec. 214 d. Kitchen: Gas range - no shutoff at unit. Hot water heater- no shutoff at unit. Sec. 508 b. Entrance, west side of building- no switch to control light in room on entry. Sec. 529 b. Exterior light fixture not secured to mounting plate (base). Sec. 528 a & b. - Building on posts - open under. Sec. 302'a.- 604 b. Inspection completed at approximately 3:00 P.M.
