commercial agricultural operation, pursuant to Section 8-8 of the Suffolk County Administrative Local
Laws. The application was approved subject to the conditions outlined in the enclosed resolution and
permit.

RESOLUTION NO.FC-12-2011 OF THE SUFFOLK COUNTY FARMLAND
COMMITTEE,PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 8 OF THE SUFFOLK COUNTY
ADMINISTRATIVE LOCAL LAWS,APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
MODIFICATION TO THE MC CALL FARMS PROPERTY(1000-116.00-
01.00-002.002), OF WHICH THE COUNTY OF SUFFOLK OWNS THE
DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 8 of the Suffolk County Administrative Local Laws ("Chapter 8"), a proposal to
modify the property owned by Walker/McCall, LLC has been received by the Suffolk County Farmland Committee
("Committee");and
WHEREAS,the property owned by Walker/McCall,LLC is located on land situated on the north side of New Suffolk
Avenue, east of Locust Avenue, and west of Moores Lane, identified by Suffolk County Real Property Tax Map
("SCRPTM")number 1000-116.00-01.00-002.002("premises");and
WHEREAS,the applicant seeks an Agricultural Development Permit for the installation and maintenance of one hay
barn structure in association with a commercial agricultural operation;and
WHEREAS,said application was considered by the Committee at its meeting on May 24,2011;now,therefore,be it
1 S`RESOLVED,that the Committee hereby finds and determines that this proposal constitutes a Type Il action pursuant
to 6 NYCRR §617.5(c)(3)and(11),which completes the SEQRA review;and be it further
2nd RESOLVED,that the Committee hereby approves and adopts the report of its staff, as may be amended;and be it
further
3 d RESOLVED,that the Committee hereby approves said application subject to the following conditions:
1.- One hay barn shall be sited in a location that is approximately located approximately 1,270 feet north of New
Suffolk Ave and 400 feet east of the western property boundary;
2. The hay barn shall not exceed a footprint of 30 feet by 40 feet;
3. The livestock barn shall not exceed a height of 28 feet;
4. The livestock barn shall have oak siding,a slate roof,concrete footings and a gravel floor;
5. The livestock barn shall be used to store hay for the herd of cattle on the premises;
6. The landowner shall prepare and implement a stormwater mitigation plan in consultation with Suffolk County
Soil and Water Conservation District and/or Natural Resources Conservation Service to address any and all
stormwater runoff issues associated with the aforementioned improvements;
7. The landowner shall submit to the Suffolk County Planning Department within one year of permit issuance the
Suffolk County Soil and Water Conservation District-and/or Natural Resources Conservation Service-approved
stormwater mitigation plan;
8. The landowner shall submit to the Suffolk County Planning Department within one year of permit issuance the
as-built survey depicting the aforementioned improvements; and
9. The landowner shall be responsible for compliance with all conditions of this approval,the deed of development
rights,the contract of sale, and all applicable statutes,rules,regulations, and guidelines.
