Meeting Minutes
Special Meeting
March 29, 2016
Present:
Rona Smith, Eric Dantes, Michael Herbert, Debra O’Kane, William
Dougherty, Denis Noncarrow and Councilman Jim Dinizio.
Meeting began at 5:00 p.m.
Purpose
: To discuss Code Committee meeting.
This special meeting was called in response to the code committee meeting of

March 22 2016. The Committee discussed aspects of two major issues to be
addressed by the Town Board. Following are the changes that the Committee
discussed and voted on to be brought to the Town Board:
Chapter 280 Zoning.
280-26
. Relates to location of Affordable Housing Developments.

Upon application to the Planning board, the requirement to build 20% of the total
number of units as MIFDUs in the subdivision may be waived. This requirement
may be waived only upon the applicant’s choosing any one or combination of the

furthers the goals for creating a variety of affordable housing opportunities within
