No permit will be required in order perform this work. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. Our neighbor put in evergreens on the other side of the fence and in doing so cut the roots so it must come out- This tree is not with in the range of the waterfront. Picture#4 was just a closer look and what needs trimming Picture#5 An overall look of some dead branches and over growth . Most of the trimming is closer to the creek This is why we are reaching out to the town for the ok to do so. If there is form or more info you and or the town needs to approve our trimming please let us know. Thank you. Sadly there are 6 trees which must come down. There is a 7th one that is surely showing signs of distress as well. Which we will trim for now. We were hopeful at the end of last summer that they might come back this spring. However they did not. We have come to realized that these trees were the exact trees that were under water during Hurricane Sandy in 2013. So we are grateful to have had them till now. We are only asking to cut to grade as we are on creek front and hope that the root system will hold the earth. We would like to replace them sometime in the fall.
