The minutes for the May 16, 2013 meeting were approved.
Introduction:
All applicants will give a presentation consisting of drawings, exterior materials
samples and other information required by the Planning Department to the Committee.
The Committee will ask questions and make suggestions as part of a general discussion
with each applicant. Final recommendations from the ARC will be presented to the
Planning Board in the ARC Meeting Minutes, and be made part of the Planning file for
that application. The Planning Board will consider these recommendations, together
with all comments from other agencies, and provide the applicant with a
comprehensive written list of its requested revisions.
New Applications:
• BREWER YACHT YARD @ STERLING HARBOR SCTM#: 1000-36-1-1
Jesse Gaffga, Marina Manager and the applicant's agent, Bruce Anderson of Suffolk
Environmental Consulting, Inc., presented the project for the proposed demolition of (3)
existing buildings and the construction of a one-story 50'x50' frame office/storage
building and a 90'x100' metal storage building to be built contiguously along with
additional bulkhead work in the M-II Zoning District, Greenport.
The Committee reviewed the proposed project and tables the application for the
following:
Color photographs of existing structures within the area of the marina.
A color aerial/satellite photo(s) of the existing area and surrounding properties.
An updated, more detailed exterior project plan of the office building depicting
the windows and their dimensions, style, and trim color; porch columns;
proposed siding, etc.
Provide samples of proposed siding and roofing.
The Committee would like to meet with the applicant again at our next meeting on
August 22, 2013 to review the requested information:
