THIS INDENTURE, made the 14 day of a/f1/ 1949) by and between
EDITH M. YOUNG, (the sole heir at law and next of kin of Gab��e%.H., Horton, deceased,
and one of the heirs at law and next of kin of Andrew P. Horton,; decease4",') residing at
Mattituck, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, party Of the first part, and
HARRY ALDERMAN" and MARY PENNY &LDERMAN, his wife, both resid`ing at Mattituck, ,New York,
`,:. parties of the second part, WITNESSETH:
That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE
($1.00) DOL10,; and other 'gobd and valuable consideration, to her in hand paid, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, has given and granted and by these presents does give, grant
and convey unto the parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, a right of way, In
common with others to whom the said party of the first part may grant the same privilege,
over a portion of a private road formerly known as Old Neck Road or Shirley Road, situate on
the northerly side of the North Road at Mattituck, in the Town of Southold, County of Suffoll
and State of New York, said portion being more particularly bounded and described as follows
,
Northerly by land of Edith M. Young, 18 feet, more or
less; Easterly by land of John Pylko and Rose Pylko,
his wife, a distance of 320 feet, more or less;
Southerly by the North Road, 18 feet, more or less;
and Westerly by lands now or formerly of Clifford
Penny and Anna Penny, hiswife, a distance of 320
feet, more or less.
Being and intended to be a portion of the right of
way reserved by Andrew P. Horton in a' certain dead
of conveyance, to Peter Hazard, recorded in the
Suffolk County Clerk's Office in Liber 177 of deeds
at page 315,
With the right of ingress, egress and regress over
said pmrtion of said right of way, to the said parties
of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS WHMR, the party of the first part has hereunto set her hand and seal
the day and year first above written.
