The following action was taken by the Board of Trustees at their
regular meeting of May 26, 1993:
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees approved the
request for a waiver to construct 100+/- 1.f. of timber walkway
to be 4' wide and 1' above grade with handrail leading to a 5' X
4' stairway over bulkhead, due to March 13, 1993 blizzard.

Dear Analyst,
En~Iosed please find an ammli~ation which falls u~der 'the SAPP
~uidelines. The application is to replace a walkway and stairs
destroyed by the ~ar~h 6. 199~ blizzard.
Please ~ot~ the promosed walkway is behind the existi.g bulkhead.
It is proposed at a 1 foot height above g~ade as the ao~lica~t is
99 years old! Any additional height would prove orecarious at
best. It is for this reason also that handrails are required.
The too of the bulkhead is also approximately 1 foot above the
grade therefore meeting level at the walkway.
Please note that all ~ro~oeed structures are above the Spring Tide
mark and reolaces previously existinq structures.
