Old Menhaden R-O-W
Ladies or Gentlemen:
A serious problem has been created by the Town at the above
Right-Of-Way: street drains have been installed on Nassau Point Road which
empty into a waste pipe that washes into the Bay.
As a result, the heavy volume has seriously eroded the R-O-W's
banks, and disconnected the last section of the waste pipe.
It appears that federal and state clean water legislation requires at
least the installation of substantial catchbasins to prevent untreated roadway
run-off into the Bay.
Please contact me to immediately schedule a meeting to correct
this long-standing problem before the summer.
