REQUEST TO WAIVER the need of a wetland permit to include a second story balcony to be 4' wide and 17' long. See attached resolution previously granted. January 12, 1987 Henry P. Smith, President Board of Town Trustees Southold Town Hall Main Road Southold, New York 11971 Re: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hribok 3 Carole Road, Southold, N.Y. Dear Mr. Smith. Prior to the Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on January 8, 1987, I was informed by the builder that the proposed second story construction will have a balcony attached. This proposed second story balcony was not shown on survey prepared by Joseph A. Ingegno, dated 11/6/86. Enclosed please find copy of builders plans which show ~he location of the balcony. Also please note attached letter dated 1/9/87, addressed to Mr. Geohringer, which states that the proposed balcony will be only 4 feet by 17 feet. We request that you include the second story balcony in your approval of our request for a waiver of the Wetland Ordinance. Please note that the balcony will be along the second~ s~ory of the dwelling, will be only four feet wide, and will be well within the area covered by the concrete patio in the rear yard. Ver~r_~ly yours, Patricia C. Moore PCM/df Enc. cc: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hribok January 9, 1987 Gerard P. Goehringer, Chairman Southold Town Board of Appeals Town Hall Main Road Southold, N.Y. 11971 Re: Hribok - Appeal #3583 Dear Mr. Geohringer: Please be advised that Mr. and Mrs. Hribok have agreed to place a second garage dod~ on the proposed garage. At the public hearing, you pointed out that the proposed construction would exceed the permitted 20% lot coverage. After consulting with the builder and Mr. and Mrs. Hribok, the proposed balcony will be reduced to 4 feet by 17 feet, in order to conform with the Southold Town lot coverage restrictions. Very truly yours, Patricia C. Moore PCM/df cc: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hribok November 18, 1986 Henry P. Smith, President Southold Town Board of Trustees Town Hall P.O. Box 728 Southold, New York 11971 Re: Property of Hribok 3 Caroie Road, Southold, N.Y. Dear Mr. Smith: This office represents Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hribok. Mr. and Mrs. Hribok wish to add a second floor and garage to existing dwelling on property located at 3 Carole Road, Southold, Suffolk County Tax Map #1000-52-2-4. Upon inspection of the property you will note that this property was built and bulkheaded (bulkhead permit %2173) prior to zoning. Furthermore, Mr. and Mrs. Hribok will not be disturbing any wetlands on their property or surrounding property. Please note that an adjacent neighbor, Joseph and Amelia Smulcheski constructed a similar addition to their home which has not resulted in a significant effect on the wetlands. Therefore, Mr. and Mrs. Hribok request that you waive jurisdiction in this matter. Ve~y_~Truly Yours, Patricia C. ~oore PCM/df cc: Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hribok 0 0 oo~
