Re: Burr House Property at The Peninsula, Fishers Island, New York
Dear Brad,
As you know, I have had discussions with both you and, on your behalf,
Bern Weintraub, about the disposition of my house property on the Peninsula, which is
known as Section 10, Block 4, Lot 7.2 on the tax map for Fishers Island (the "House
Parcel"). The House Parcel is more particularly described on the schedule attached to
this letter.
As a result of those discussions, and understanding your interest in
eventually owning the House Parcel, I agree to do the following:
1. I will speak with my son about his thoughts regarding your ideas and other
question regarding disposition of the House Parcel.
2. After the discussion with my son, I will reconnect with you and Bern to continue
our discussion about the House Parcel.
3. If we come to an agreement regarding a Right of First Refusal or other
mechanism to ensure your right to purchase the House Parcel, that agreement
will be written up in a document that, in exchange for an amount of money that
you and I will agree on, I will sign and have recorded against the property.
4. Understanding that you are relying on and trusting me regarding this matter, prior
to going through the steps outlined above, I will not sell or voluntarily give away
the House Parcel.
