Box 1412 Main Road Southold, New York 11971 Re: Lothar Hertel Cedar Point Drive West, Sou,hold Dear Mr. Strang: Pursuant to your letter dated March 11, 1986, please be advised that the Board of Trustees took the following action regarding your request for a wetland permit for the above referenced. Moved by Trustee Goubeaud seconded by Trustee Larsen it was RESOLVED to Waiver the need of a wetland permit for Garrett A. Strang on behalf of Lothar Hertel for the construction of a 1½ story addition to an existing single family residence located on Cedar Point Drive West. Immediately following construction all areas of exposed soil shall be properly protected with suitable erosion control devices and/or vegetated to prevent entry of eroded soil into the nearby waters. Re; Application Determination Addition to Hertel Residence Dear Mr. Smith, I have forwarded to the Board an application for a permit on the above referenced project as per my letter dated Feb.28, 1986. I am of the opinion a permit may not be required due to the fact the proposed addition will not be as close to the inlet as the existing dwelling. If I am correct, I would appreciate the Board granting a waiver. If however a permit is required, I would appreciate the Board taking action on this, as soon as possible,based on the aformentioned application. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
