Re: Proposed Site Plan Commercial Solar Energy Production
SCTM#1000-96-1-17.5 Zoning District— LI
This proposed Site Plan is to construct a ground-mounted commercial solar energy production
system consisting of 3,456 modules at±714"tall covering 1.65 acres on the existing landfill cap
with a ±17' x 8' inverter and transformer along with associated ground equipment. Existing on
site are±25,000 sq. ft. of existing buildings including the Town transfer station and associated
accessory structures, all on 61.2 acres in the Light Industrial Zoning District.
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the
Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy
Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form
submitted to this department, the proposed action is recommended as CONSISTENT with the
LWRP.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written
determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
