There is a constant risk of being crushed between moving parts. Fatal or very severe injuries may occur. ✓ During the following activities, make sure that no one else is in the hazardous _ area. a) When opening and closing the shields. b) When lifting and lowering the machine. c) When opening and closing the engine cover. d) And during all other turning, swiveling, and tilting movements. r Risk of fire due to short-circuits or soiling ®AN, ER Fatal or very severe injuries may occur. ✓ The machine is equipped with a fire extinguisher. a) Any electrical installations may only be performed by qualified electricians! b) Be sure to avoid sparks when performing maintenance works. c) Do not allow naked flames. d) Clean the machine according to the operating instructions. Fatal or very severe injuries may occur. a) Secure the machine against accidental switch-on! b) Keep a safe distance from rotating parts when the machine is in operation! c) Always wear suitable work clothing (e.g., no loose clothing,wear a hair net if your hair is long)when working on the machine. WARNING Electrical failure Severe injuries may occur. a) Always switch off the machine by means of the main switch before performing electrical or welding work! I- b) Always keep the ground cable as close to the welding point as possible when performing welding work. c) Turn off the main switch when the machine is switched off(e.g., before per- forming welding work or when the machine is not used for longer periods)to interrupt the power supply to the control panel. WARNING Danger of burning due to hot hydraulic oil Severe injuries may occur. a) Protect yourself from being burned by hot hydraulic oil during maintenance work by means of gloves and suitable work clothes. i Carry out a visual inspection of the machine every day to identify damage at an • early stage and to avoid accidents. You must always pay attention to cleanliness during machine maintenance. Do not allow pollutants to get into the hydraulic oil lines and air lines! • Clean the machine and/or the control panel with compressed air only! a) Do not clean these areas with water or high-pressure cleaners! Otherwise, damage to electrical components or stripped and illegible safety stickers may occur. b) The shredding space may be cleaned with water.
