Upon request of Gary F. Olsen, Attorney, Main Road, Mattituck,
for Pre-Existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection
of this partial two story framed dwelling and found the
following violations of Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of
Southold, New York. I was admitted to the building by Mr.
Harned who accompanied me during inspection, which began at
approximately 10:15 A.M.
First Floor consists of Kitchen, Full Bathroom, Pantry,
Dining Room, and large divided Living Room.
Kitchen and Living Room outside entries - no means of
controlling light in room on entry. Article V, Section
52-56 B.2.
Second Floor consists of three bedrooms and hall bathroom.
Wall Switch controlling light for safe descent
of stairway not operating. Article II, Section
52-56 B.3.
Ceiling Fixture in hallway operated by pull-chain
switch on light socket - switch is faulty. Article
V,~ Section 52-56 A.1.
Heat is furnished to all living rooms from oil fired
steam furnace located in full cellar.
There
are
two
accessory buildings in rear and side yard
area.
Exterior, grounds, and buildings are in good order.
Inspection completed at approximately 10:35 A.M.
