Galligan from Town of Southold Dear Mr. Wickham: At a meeting of the Southo!d Town Trustees Held January 2, 1980 the matter of the application of Jeanne Galligan for a quitclaim deed to filled in property at Mattituck Creek was discussed. It was the consensus of the Board that it would be in agreement with this if there were a covenant that the property will not be. subdivided. Yours trUly, ANNA T. HATAIER, PRESIDENT BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES By Muriel Tolman, Clerk ber, Road, THIS INDENTURE made in duplicate this day of Novem- 1979, between the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, with offices at Main Southold, in the County of Suffolk and State of New York, by a majority of its duly elected Trustees, and in pursuance of Chapter 615 of the Laws of New York, passed in 1893 and in pur- suance of a written resolution adopted by a majority of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Southold at a meeting held pursuant to notice duly given to all members thereor on the 4th day of December, 1979 party of the first par=; and JOANNE M. GALLIGAN, residing a~ (no a) Westview Drive, Mattituck, New York, party of the second part. WI TNE S S ET H: That the party of the first part in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to said Twon duly paid before the delivery hereof doth hereby grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever: ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land now or formerly below high water mark of Mattituck Creek, situate, lying and being at Mattituck, in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of the Anchorage at the northwest corner of other premises of the party of the second part, said point being 190 feet westerly from a deflection in said southerly line of the Anchorage; from said point of be- ginning, RUNNING THENCE southwesterly along ordinary high water mark of Mattituck Creek as found in 1950, the tie line being South 29° 09' West 113.49 feet; RUNNING THENCE North 79° 4G' West 110 feet, mo~ or less, to ordinary high water mark of Mattituck Creek; RUNNING THENCE northerly along said ordinary high water mark 100 feet to the southerly line of Anchorage; RUNNING THENCE along said line South 83° 17' 20" East 159 feet, more or less, to the point or place of BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above mentioned and described premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Town of Southold, party of the first part, has by a majority of the Board of Trustees of said Town, caused its corporate seal to be hereto affixed, and these presents to be subscribed by a majority of the said Board of Trustees, the day and year first above written.
