THIS INDENTURE
Made the 28th day of November, 1955, between CARL
F. BERGER, Public Administrator of Suffolk County (successor
to Ellis T. Terry), as Administrator of the goods, chattels
and credits of Mary Reeve, deceased, late of Mattituck, Town
of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, partyof the first par ;t
and CHARLES F. MONAHAN and DORIS B. MONAHAN, his wife, both
residing at 247-05 43rd Avenue, Little Neck, New York, part-
:. ies of the second part,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, by an order of Hon. Edgar F. Hazleton,
Surrogate of the County of Suffolk, made and entered in the
said Surrogate's Office of the County of Suffolk on the 24th
day of October, 1955, in a certain proceeding then pending
entitled "In the Matter of the Final Judicial Settlement of
the Account of Proceedings of Carl F. Berger, Public Adminis-
trator of Suffolk County (Successor to Ellis T. Terry), as
Administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of Mary Reev ,
deceased, and the application of said Administrator for an
order to sell the real property of the decedent for the pay-
ment of said decedent's debts and funeral and administration
expenses", the party of the first part hereto was ordered and
directed to sell the premises herein described at public j
auction on November 19, 1955, for the purpose of payment of

said decedent's debts and funeral and administration expen-
ses; and
WI3F;AEAS, said auction was held on November 19, 1955, �
and the parties of the second part bid Three Thousand Five
Hundred and 00/100 ($3,500.00) Dollars thereat, said amount
being the highest sum bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority in him

vested by the said proceeding and order of the Surroga'te's
Court of Suffolk County, and in consideration of the sum of

Three Thousand Five Hundred and 00/100 ($3,500.00) Dollars
to him in hand paid by the parties of the second part, the
I� receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the party of the
first part as Administrator of the goods, chattels,and cred-
its of Mary Reeve, deceased, does hereby grant and release
unto the partJesof the second part, their heirs and assigns

ALL that certain piece or parcel of land,
together with the buildings and improvements
thereon, situate at Mattituck, Town of Southold,
Suffolk County, New York, bounded and described

t BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of the
premises at a point on Westphalia Avenue ad-
joining the land now or formerly of George
Horton; and running thence along Westphalia
Avenue 147 1/2 feet to land now or formerly of
Edgar Cox; running thence Westerly along said
land nowor formerly of Cox 264 feet toland

now or formerly of Seymour H. Tuthill; thence
Easterly along said land now orformerly of
said Tuthill 17 1/2 feet to land now or former-
ly of George Horton; thence Southeasterly
