It is our belief that this person should apply to the army engineers for a permit to erect a dock. Under existing conditions, he will have to arrange with the owner of Fordham Acres, Section II, for permission to erect the structure on the bottom on the subdivision. M~y ~ respectfully point out ~hat the whole purpose im digging the canal was to provide protected boat ~oorings at the building.lot locations? If such mooring facilities would be denmed, there would be no purpose whatever for this very expensive canal, It seems to me that it is very desirable for the Town to regulate the type~size and location of docks on the canal, but I would certaznly n~pe that the~e ~ould be no question about the propriety of znstatling a sultable dock.
