Box 617 Cutchogue, NY 11935 Re: Joseph Friedman SCTM ~1000-143-5-11 Dear Mr. Fitzgerald: The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during its regular meeting held on February 27, 1992 regarding the above matter: WHEREAS, PROPER-T SERVICES ON BEHALF OF Joseph Friedman applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated December 18, 1991 and, WHEREA~ said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council for t~eir findings and recommendations, and,. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect. to said application on February 27, 1992 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WIIEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area, and, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT PROPER-T SERVICES ON BEHALF OF JOSEPH FRIEDMAN BE AND HEREBY IS GRANTED PER14ISSlON UNDER THE WETLAND ORDINANCE TO: request permit to construct fixed open walkway 3' X 35'; hinged ramp 3' X 12'; two floating docks, each 5' X 15'1 floating docks secured by 4 spiles; all per drawings and diagrams submitted. This permit will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. Two inspections are required and the Trustees are to be notified upon completion of said project. New York 11971 (516) 765-1801 SOUTHOLD TOWN CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL To: Soutkold Town Board of Trustees From: Southold Town CAC Dated: January 14, 1992 Re: Recommendation of Wetland Applications The followin§ recommendations were adopted by the CAC ar its meeting held Thursday, January 9, 1992: On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by John McCormick,; it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees partial approval of Wetland Application No. 86-6-p/o26 of Winds Way Building Corp. to construct 4' x 50' and 4' x 40' timber stair- way from top of bluff to base of slope. Stairway to lead to 4' x 225' elevated timber catwalk constructed along slope toe to 4' x 60' timber catwalk connecting adjoining property staircase (4' x 40') and common beach. Also, Ko construct 4' x 100' elevated timber catwalk leading to a 3' x I0' r,amp and two 6' x 20' floats in "T" formation secured by 8" pilings. Catwalk to be elevated 4' over TWL area. The CAC recommends approval of the dock a~ long as the pathway go directly from the dock to the 15' contour line. The CAC, however, recommends the Trustee TABLE the remainder of the application until the ownership is clarified and written approval from the adjacent property owner is obtained. On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Cynthia Sturner, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees disapproval of Wetland Application No. 11~-7-25 of Gustave Wade to construct a one family dwelling, sanitary system, well, 150± 1.f. ~ timber retaining wall landward of the wetland edge using approximately 35 c.y. of clean sand backfill and an additional 25 c.y. of top soil to establish plantings. The CAC recommends disapproval because the lot is environmentally constrained. It cannot suppor~ sanitary septic effulent from the septic system and there will be a negative environmental impact due to the proximity of the wetlands to the proposed house. On a motion by 3ohn Holzapfel, seconded by Robert Keith, it was RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Trustees approval with stipulations Wetland Application No. 122-3-15.1 of Village Marine to reconsstruct and extend existing boat ramp utilizing pre-cast concrete slabs. Ramp to extend approximately beyond existing ramp terminus. Also to maintenance dredge approximately 1500 s.f. of existin9 marina to provide a 4' depth at MLW. Approximately 140 c.y. of sand/silt to be remove~ via crane with clam shell and trucked off site. The CAC recommends approval with the stipulation that applicant contains all runoff and eliminate any current runoff. 175 Bay Avenue, Mattituck Vote of Council: Ayes: All Motion carried. On a motion by John Holzapfel, seconded by Cynthia Sturner, it was RESOLVED to TABLE Wetiand Application No. 867 of North Fork Country Club to construct a new 16th fairway and tee; extend 15th tee.
