Please be further advised as.follows: 1. The applicant will be unable to attend the hearing scheduled for December 30~ 1986 and requests an adjournment of the application until the January, 1987 meeting. 2. With reference to the issue concerning construction of the bulk head,~ please be advised that the Zoning Board of Appeals on January 30, 1966 grant~d! an application to maintain a boat basin for the dockage of more than 6 non-comraercial boats on the subject premises. A copy of the Zoning Board of Appeals Resolution is enclosed. In light of the foregoing, the applicant hereby requests permission for the construction of the bulkhead 6 feet westerly of the existing bulkhead. The proposal of the Board of Trustees concerning construction of the bulkhead 16 feet west of the existing bulkhead is impracticable and would render the proposed bulkhead useless. To impose the construction of a useless bulkhead Board of Trustees Town of Southold December 3, 1986 Page 2 would be in direct contravention of the Board of Standards and Appeals' decision.
