Re: Application for Dredging at Gull Pond -
Osprey Nest Road Inlet
Dear Sir,
Enclosed are copies of main~enance dredging permits and a plan
that shows in red an area that needs attention as soon as possible
to prevent a loss of entry ko an existin~ dock for a pleasure craft.
The intent is to provide for use of the area shown for boat
traffic that has always accomodated my boat and which is silting up
ay a very rapid rate.
My existing permit from the D.E.C. and Army expires in Sept. 1988.
There is an availability for marine services at presen~ to dredge a
max~aum of 400 yards which will be removed by clamshell and barge by
Latham Contracting Corp.
Please be advised that this is a requesv for a permit ko proceed
with this operation. The necessary forms to obtain this permit will
be filed by my agent, Mr. J. Geideman, a licensed N.Y.S. land surveyor.
The use of my boat is being restricted by this condition~ therefore,
I would appreciate your attention and any help that would make an early
start possible.
